S1 sandblast finish Canadian with flush silver band. This is a good example of a long shank Canadian with a short saddle mouthpiece. In order to get the length of the shank most manufacturers turn the briar when cutting, which allows them to utilize the maximum possible length, but results in cross cut or "birds-eye" grain pattern. Ser Jacopo uses only extra quality plateau of extra size, and can therefore cut for length as well as grain, which is seen from the straight grain pattern of this sandblast model.
